Stage 2
Request a viewing
(Please make sure you have sufficient finances to cover the rent and outgoings for the property you’re seeking).
A member of our team may ask you for the below information. This is to ensure the property is suitable for your needs. Providing comprehensive support reinforces our tenant information services.
- Name and address of all prospective occiupiers (contract-holders (tenants))
- Proof of Identity
- Details of any children, including their ages
- Whether you have any pets
- Immigration status
- Whether you smoke or not
- Contact details including your present address and daytime telephone number and
- Details of present circumstances (e.g. in rented, living with parents etc.)
- Your employment status
Please note the property will remain available to other prospective contract-holders (tenants) until your application has been accepted and confirmed (stage 4 below). We ensure comprehensive support for you throughout the process.
Stage 3
Pre-Tenancy Application Form
If you would like to be considered for the property viewed, please complete the pre-tenancy application form (see here).
As part of this process you will be asked to give consent to your data being collected and held by Tudor for the purpose of considering your application. More details about General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) here
Stage 4
Should you then wish to proceed with the application you will be asked to pay a holding deposit and you will be invited to proceed with your application/credit check.

During this time no further applications will be considered for the property
Stage 5
After we have received your holding deposit payment you will receive an email from the credit check company and you will need to follow their link to complete the application process on-line.
The credit check will be undertaken by Rent4Sure
Stage 6
Acceptance of your reference - an Occupancy Contract will be preopared for your consideration. Please take time to review and understand the Agreement.
NOTE – once passed referencing, this does not mean you can move in. The next stage will be for our property management department to make sure the property is contract holder ready, e.g checking safety regulations, preparing or updating the inventory, processing the paperwork etc. This usually would be 7 – 10 days after you’ve passed referencing.
Then we all should be ready to sign the contracts, execute the tenancy and “exchange contract”. It’s at this stage the monies due are paid, and a completion (Move In) date is agreed.
So, please be aware, from application to move in, it could be around 2 – 3 weeks. (Sometimes less, sometimes more depending on circumstances).
